Photoshop Lessons.
John Blakemore Style Photoshop.
For our still life project we had a limited amount of objects to use but we made them more intresting by using a range of tools in photoshop for example I used, burn, dodge, sharpen, sponge, smudge and blur.
When I was taking images like John Blakemore, I had to take the photograph from different angles to create a more dramtic shot, also whilst doing this we learned about different compositions, lines, form, shape and structure. By doing the John Blakemore piece I found out that it was quite easy to do and really easy to set up, all you needed was simple things that you could found round the room.

Architectural:
For the architectural piece, we went out and took some architectural shots, whilst doing this we learnt about different angle points. After taking architectural shots we choose our best ones and uploaded them into photoshop, we then desaturated them after doing all this we choose a high resolution background and added this to the photograph. I then used the overlay tool on photoshop and this is how I created my effect.
Tim Marrs style piece.
For the Tim Marrs piece I had to create a collage, For this I chose a old building, the band Biffy Clyro and the Peace sign. These images were all found on google and I had to use different layers for this idea. I had to desaturate the images and cut away all the backgrounds out of the images that I had used. I found this piece really tricky to do but at the end I got the hang of it.
Architectural: Sci Fi.
Whilst doing this piece of work I tried to make a building from my own photographs that I had taken of environments and buildings. I took my inspiration from Sci-Fi buildings, whilst expiermenting with this piece I used warp, distort, magic wand and other types of tools. I found this piece of work rather difficult to use. After I did this i desaturated my the colour of the images and then I had to think of what type of background I was going to use.
This is Tomorrow.
For this we had to create our own 'This is Tomorrow" piece, I could use any photographs that I found from google. I used different selection tools, transform scale, edit transform and also the distort and perspective tool.
To start of with I had to use a basic empty room and then add my chosen images using copy and paste.
The pictures I used were a double bed, television, television stand, rug, a dog, a Beatles poster, a John Lennon poster and some wall lights. In the end I was very pleased with what I had created.
