Brief.
This project aims to develop your skills in understanding and preparing moving image and using post production tools and techniques. You will do this through exploring professional practice of filming and editing, whilst developing your own technical and creative skills. You will develop an understanding of how your work can affect the final outcome.
The evidence you must produce is the following:-
Evidence of preparation of storyboards, logs of scenes and scripts.
Evidence the processes and techniques used, referring to subject terminology related to the processes.
Evidence of examples of others editing and production of films, with relevant analysis.
Evidence on your blog for editing terminology.
An interview; filmed and edited.
An advertising trailer for the course.
A short film shot and edited in the style of a director - Tarantino / Hitchcock. (30 seconds)
OR
Shoot a video promoting sports/ music at the college
Produce a 'fly on the wall' documentary for the college catwalk.
